Eau du soir by Sisley was created in 1990 for Countess Isabelle d’Ornano. It was released to the public in 1999.
The box has a lacquered effect in black with gold text. The bottle has a beautiful stopper of a woman’s head with flowing hair, in gold.
Opening notes: Mandarin orange and grapefruit.
Middle notes: Labdanum, jasmine, carnation, juniper, ylang-ylang, orris root, pepper, and oakmoss.
Base notes: Patchouli, amber and musk.
A wonderful sharp and crisp blast greets you once the pretty lid is popped. The juniper is queen of this fragrance, and it rules over the other notes strictly. Even the powdery orris takes second place, and the whole blend is fresher for it. This could certainly be unisex and is comparable to any man’s high quality cologne.
Occasions: Lovely for walks outdoors, and indoors it will bring the woods to you.
Rating: Silver medal.
