Al-Aneeq perfumes were established in 2014, their business in based in UK, they sell across Europe and the actual perfumes are produced in Switzerland.

Many people love the scent of Nag Champa in incense sticks. This perfume has the same rich, oriental heady fragrance. Unusually for a perfume, this has a full list of ingredients which helps give clues to the notes within.

The bottle is a simple octagonal design, with the gold lid having a glass gem of varying colours inset into it.

nag champa by al aneeq perfume review

Opening notes: Patchouli and coumarin.

Middle notes: Cinnamon and geranium.

Base notes: Amber, citronella, and oud.

This opens with a deliciously rare high quality patchouli, it is almost sweet. It shines through as marvelous compared with lesser types. It is warm and sensual, and takes you to another place and ancient times past. The drydown develops over thirty minutes to be amber overwhelmingly, sadly with a bitter edge, probably from the citronella, in the background that affects the beauty of it.

Suited to: Ideal for festivals, hedonistic pursuits and meditation.

Rating: I give this a bronze medal, try before you buy.

Price: Very inexpensive.
